Haiku Blanket Sleeper

Haiku Friday

Footed pajamas
So warm and cozy for kids
Silly on adults

Those blanket sleepers
Make me want to snuggle up
Cuddly babies

Safe, secure, and warm
On a chilly winter night
Pilled blanket sleeper

The epitome
of childhood, these sleepers
Night, night my babies.

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:

1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What's a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky below with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn't go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina or myself.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

My kids call them "DW Pajamas" b/c on Arthur, his sister -DW, wears them! I'm actually thinking about getting some for all four, matching, this Christmas!!

I LOVE feetie pajamas. My mom even bought me a pair a few years ago for Christmas that she found. And since I am not a tiny person, to say I looked ridiculous would be an understatement. And they were hot!

I used to put Charlotte in them every night and one day a couple weeks ago, she started having fits. "Noooo tootsies nooooo tootsies" She decided she did not want her feet covered ANYMORE!!! Anyone need 500 pair of 18-month feetie pajamas?

awww so sweet. My kids will not wear blanket sleepers anymore. It's so frustrating!

I love footie pjs too. My daughter would wear them year round if I let her.

We have the same city streets rug!

I love feeties, too. Now that we're nearing potty training, they aren't an option. SIGH

I was so sad when my big boy grew out of them.
And your kids - DAMNED cute.

Just in case your kids are like mine and like to go "des nudo" in the middle of the night, blanket sleepers work just as well when put on backwards and zipped up the back. Ha!

OH I agree.
A child in footies? Perfect.

A child SLEEPING in footies (preferrably until 8AM)? PRICELESS!

They are so sincerely adorable Jennifer.

I love thoes footie pjs on babies and toddlers. Can't wait to unpack (I mean buy) them again.

But for adults? Even SB wanted to know why in the world grown ups would wear those when we saw them at Target recently.

Love footies! Just makes you want to squeeze the babies!

BusterBrown is currently wearing a pair of Peanut's hand-me-down p.js I think he can carry off the pink fluffy bunny look quite well. Very boyish.

So cute. I love kids in footie pjs too, those are adorable pictures. I dread the day my kids refuse to wear them.

my baby girl has the same exact one! sam's club perhaps?

i'm paranoid, but footies calm me a bit. i always think to myself, "if my house burned down or we had a mid-night earthquake... would my kids be warm enough???" i know i'm crazy! but i would rather be safe than sorry!

Would so wear footie pajamas.

i love those footies too. what a fun topic:-) to the commenter who talked about pajama removal -- a safety pin, strateigally placed at the top over the zipper works just fine too.

happy friday!

Sweet pictures! I just bought 2 of those little pink sleepers for the bebes!

I adore the footie jammies. I swear if they made them for adults, I'd have a pair in leopard print with pink trim! LOL.
I'll share with y'all later the picture of monkey in the cereal pile, this is pre learning to leave a trail.
Thanks for dropping in. I think next week I'm going to attempt a haiku, that way I can work on it all week :-)

We love the footies, too. How come ppl have to comment on it, though, when I take him out wearing them now? Grr... Like I'm a bad mom for leaving him in his PJ's.

When he was younger they were a totally appropriate all day outfit! GAH!

I love footie jammies.

Mira lives in footed PJs most days. I firmly believe all babies under a year old should wear them most of the time in the winter.

Oh, and we have that exact same pink sleeper for Mira - it's so cute!

Could I be later to the party?

Gah. It's the only thing I have to do every Friday, and I still almost miss it. Sad.

Want to know something silly and possibly sad?

I had footed pajamas in college. Two pair. One was covered with the seven dwarfs.

*sigh*

Yah for footy pjs, i think kids looks so adorable in them and love watching Rebecca in a pair (when she lets me, we don't have any doggy ones and you know little girls must go to bed with a doggy on there night clothes)

I love footy pjs. I'm 24 and still wear them. Mine are the one piece style with a zipper to the ankle and feet of course. I have 6 pairs and wear them just about yearound. I even pack a pair for summer vacation. Ha Ha Yeah the hotel rooms are cold... bye

I went to college and bring some with me (a navy blue, a gray and a red that my mom made for the cold country night) since most college dorms are cold as hell i started wearing them in the evening. Some made jokes but the very next week we where about 6 wearing them and it ended up in a pajama party for christmas. Quite weird to see a bunch of drunk teens in footed PJ.

Some online dealers are now specialised in adults footies.

Since i work up north now where it is -40 -50 celsius at night. They come handy sometime :)
