One Week

One week.

Or, OH MY GAWD, possibly less.

Petunia will be here!!!!!

OH MY GAWD, Petunia will be here. I can't breathe.

I can't wait to meet her!

I just got over being in pain, damnit! I am TOTALLY FREAKING OUT ABOUT THE PAIN.

I made it to 7 centimeters last time with no epidural.

I'll make it to the the labor room after being admitted for the induction and request the epidural RIGHT NOW. I see no need to try to be a hero.

I can't wait to breastfeed again and have those private, special moments with just Petunia and I.

OH MY GAWD! I'm going to have leaking, engorged boobs. She is going to be attached to me. I'll never be alone again.

I'll get to smell her sweet, little head. And touch her soft skin. And dress her in PINK!

Great, more diapers to change. Another kid to bathe. More laundry (as if it isn't already never ending.)

I wonder who she will look like? What will her personality be like? Will she be a Mommy's girl?

I swear if I get another colicky baby, I'll scream. SCREAM. And it would be nice for one of my children, that I birthed, to favor me.

I get my body back in ONE WEEK, YAY!!!

My body with all the flab and fatigue and post pregnancy hair loss and no time to shower.

I'm going to be a Mommy again!

I'm going to be a Mommy again!

I can't wait!

I'm so excited!

One week from today. Or sooner.

Congrats! I know how you feel! Glad you are feeling better, just in time to... you know... feel bad again! :)

How exciting!! I can't wait to meet her. I miss that tiny baby feeling. When their whole body will fit on your chest and you can put their whole tiny body in your arms and just feel complete.

The anticipation is killer isn't it? What an exciting time for all of you!!

Oh, the contradictions. Good luck, I hope it's soon, and quick!

Be a mommy again? You're a mommy NOW! Wait, what did you do with Peanut?? :O

Hey, be careful with that epidural! Make sure they have a REALLY big bag of that stuff, mine ran out and it sucked!
On a happier note, I know you'll be glad to get your body back, even though you'll still have to "share" it with her... Just think, you'll be able to lay on your stomach, see your toes, not have constant feet/fists/knees in your ribs. I can't wait to meet her either.

How exciting!!! Congratulations and good luck!

I am so excited for you after reading that and I don't even know you!

I know what you mean about having a kid that looks like you - neither of mine did - both were very like their Dad - my son is changing though and he's starting to resemble me more :)

yeah, what's with the post pregnancy hair loss? I've shed a yeti since Lucky was born.

Excited for you. Can't wait to meet Little Miss Pickles!

I'm with you and the epidural. My OB said "we can do this however you want...."

I said "give me drugs NOW! that's what I want!"

Oh and NEITHER Stinkerbell or Lucky look at ALL like me. Noooooooooo. Their paternity has never been questioned though!

Yes, there's great anticipation and fear that comes with a second child. (There's a sweet naivete that comes with your first.) You'll be fine. You'll all figure it out. Can't wait to hear about it. Good luck. Take care. Get some rest.

Oh I am getting excited for you just from reading your post!

You sound like are ready to embrace the upcoming changes...yea! Just try to get sleep.

Congratulations. I hope all goes well.

Oh wow! Thanks for popping by my blog today! How very fun to "meet" you! And I know all those feelings so well! I'm the opposite of you, though. I don't need the epi. The pain of labor and delivery are manageable for me. It's the BREASTFEEDING that I'm always terrified of!!!

Soon all the answers to all your questions will be here! I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to read more and more!!!

I'm so excited for you, too!!! You're going to have so much fun having a daughter :) ... frills and bows and rumba tights, oh my. You're so lucky, Ashley

PS I agree, epidural ASAP ... then time to catch up on some sleep.

You are going to love having a gir (except for the whining)! I hope you have lots of cute frilly things at home - I know people will be bringing more because who can resist those clothes!

Good luck and get plenty of rest NOW - won't be any later! :)

I can't believe it is already time for you to have her! I hope it all goes well for you. Easy labor, easy birth and a happy, sweet, healthy baby girl!

I can't wait to meet her.

Oooh! Maybe she'll be born on my birthday- the 14th. I'll feel real special then!

Good luck and I hope it's quick and easy!

Oh, I'm having all of those emotions, too! Especially hoping that I don't have another colicky baby. I keep hoping this one will be an easy baby - my reward for dealing with Miss Cranky.
