Chinese Freeze Tag
I was tagged by Cherann at Confessions of a Former Bookworm and Lene at Families are Like Fudge for this 10 things about me meme. Sorry it took so long for me to get this posted.
To spice things up a bit, I'm going to share 10 fascinating and Asian-related things about myself.
1. I love Chinese food. Especially Mu Shu Pork.
2. I have no desire to travel to China. Actually, I really don't have a huge desire to travel to any Asian destinations.
3. One of my favorite authors is Amy Tan. Her books are fascinating looks into the Chinese culture. They are very interesting.
4. On my honeymoon to San Francisco, we visited Chinatown. We didn't eat there, though, because we'd already had lunch in the Financial District.
5. I've known one person to adopt a little girl from China. She named her daughter Lucy. She's a gorgeous and very lucky little girl.
6. I don't care for Chinese Five Spice Powder. I think it's because of the cloves. Cloves are yucky.
7. Although I enjoy Chinese food, I'd rather not eat at Chinese buffets. Buffets are breeding grounds for typhoid fever, malaria, and polio.
8. One of my favorite pairs of shoes, that I currently cannot wear because I'm pregnant, is the brand "Chinese Laundry."
9. I never had a Chinese student when working as an SLP.
10. The last time I checked, my blog is not banned in China. Is your blog banned?
Now I get to tag...10 people...no tag backs...

Great list of 10....I now know to never suggest the china buffet located beside our whoring grounds for lunch.
Wednesday?? That suddenly seems soon!
Good luck!
Haha! I am blocked in China! To think of all those people missing out on my humor!
Must be a mistake! Surely!
So.... you're telling me that I now have less time to complete this meme, due to this whole you know...baby thing?? :-) Actually, I'm pretty excited! Thanks for tagging me.
Little Bug is on her way!(That's your new little girl's name, since I'm going to win your contest!)
I'll add a few Asian related items in for good measure. I love mu shu pork too! I always order that and chicken fried rice. Yum Yum!
Ohmygosh! I don't know if I am ready for this! Oh, relax Dana, you're not the one having the baby! I am excited for you!
Wow, how exciting to know your induction date is coming soon. I'm sure you're anxiously getting everything into order.
My website IS banned in China. How sad.
I am so excited for you! BTW, my blog is banned!

Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday
I'm singing.
I'm so excited.
I need a life sooo much.
Enjoy your last weekend without bruised nipples, hemorrhoids, walking like a cowboy, nursing every 2 hours, weeping for no reason, cleaning belly buttons, wiping axle grease off butts...
Get ready for the endless snuggle and yuuuuummmmmmyyyyy smell of the softy softest skin.
Get some sleep!!!
I love Chinese too but it's lost some of its magic now that I ask for everything to be made steamed with no sugar, no cornstarch ... basically, no fun. What I wouldn't do for a bucket of fried rice ....
Yeah, those buffets gross me out too. One case of food poisoning was enough to keep me away for life!
Wednesday as in 4 days from now?!! I'm excited for you!!
Oh my, Wednesday? Wow that is soon!
I don't like chinese buffet food either. Its icky.
And I feel so honored that you tagged me :) and at the same time I feel like a social reject because I don't know 10 people who I could tag :P
Ok I just checked and my blog is banned in China! My radioactive bear must have scared them off.
Wow! Wednesday! That is SO TOTALLY exciting! Can't wait to meet Petunia!
And, by the way I am totally excited to be tagged... I have to figure out what to do since I am so new to the blog world.
I am quite certain I am not banned in China. Good luck on Wednesday!!!!! If it makes you feel any better Tay had colic and Ryan didn't so maybe you will luck out also.
Oh wow, Wednesday? Isn't it surreal to have a scheduled date to have a baby? I had a scheduled c-sec with my first, and it was weird to get up that morning and say,"Guess we're having a baby today."
I love your twist on the meme! Very clever.
LOL - Dude, my blog is totally banned in China, that is too funny. I am so excited for you!!!
I'll be sure to send a copy of Ramona and Her Mother along with a tube of toothpaste for little Petunia. So excited for you!
BTW, my blog is banned in China.
Great list Jennifer! Very creative with the theme. :)
Wednesday? Yikes! I will be thinking about you. Your all ready? Bag packed with necessities? Any vino to numb the pain? Good lucK!
