Happy 4 Months, Baby Girl

Four months have passed since your arrival, little girl.

We've been through quite a lot in this short time. Colic. Acid Reflux. No napping. Bleeding nipples (mine luckily and NOT yours).

Also in this short time, you've managed to charm your big brother, your Daddy, me, Sophie dog (which is a feat unto itself), your aunt, your uncle, and your grandparents. You have a smile that melts our hearts, yummy thighs that makes us all want to gobble you up, and chubby cheeks that demand oodles of kisses.

Has it really already been four months?

We love you Ella Baby!

Those are such cute pictures - probably makes you forget completely about the colic, acid reflux, lack of napping, and bleeding nipples - ok maybe not the bleeding nipples - OUCH!!

first off, those are some mightyfine lookin' kids you got! so damn cute! they definitely need to be bitten.
And how much does reflux suck? It was Sam, the swiffer, the spit-up and me for a year! As for nursing, my boobs will never be perky again! wh am i fooling? they were never perky before kids!
love your blog.

Happy 4 months!. And congrats mom for making it through four months of colic and reflux.

I feel your reflux pain. #2 still has it and he's 18-months-old. And he still drinks thickened liquids (which I'm sure you know about as a Speech Path) with no end in sight!

Such gorgeous kids! I love this stage - where they figure out how to make their hands do stuff, and start understanding more and more of how this new world they're in works! So fun.

There are no words for her prettiness!

Hey you readers...she's even better in person!! She let me hold her and didn't cry. Gasp! That's a feat in my experience with playgroupie babies, most of whom cried at the sight of me. See how much smarter she is than the average baby...she KNOWS I'm cool already.

Aw, she's such a cutie. Isn't it nice that our babies are no longer jerks?

My little former colicky, acid refluxy annoying baby just turned 1 and I say the same thing too! I can't believe it.
And pudgy little baby thighs -- definitely edible (why don't thighs stay that way.....)
