Happiness Is...

...Going to brunch at Callaghan's Irish Social Club in Midtown.

...Finding a seat outside in the gorgeous 70 degree weather.

...Eating the most delicious breakfast evah!, the Charleston Street Special which consists of english muffins topped with creamed spinach, poached eggs, and a white wine seafood sauce and served with cheese grits.

...Enjoying the meal while both children were quiet and happy, Carson drawing pictures and Ella making zerbert noises and playing with her toes.

...Feeling drunk on life (or possibly drunk on the very potent Mimosa I ordered.) Whichever.

That is happiness.

Sounds like a great morning. I acutally just flat out had a margarita at 10:30 in the morning. It just sounded good. A mimosa is morning appropriate. Not sure a margarita is...

those Irish and their fun Social Clubs!

my Sunday now feels horribly dull, but i think it's because a Sunday in Alabama sounds exotic to me, which i suppose is all relative...

glad you have the happy. :)

Aw, yeah! Nice!

We've had a balmy weekend as well. Love it!

I'm in camp margarita today, too. Call us lushes. Heh.

70 degree weather + Delicious Breakfast + Lovely Mimosa = Tiny Slice of Heaven

& you so deserve it! I hope you can hold onto the feeling later in the week when you just stepped in dog poo and the baby puked all over and Carson has a crayon stuck up his nose. Or however chaos looks at your house.

Oh, I'm jealous. I've always wanted to go there for their Sunday thingy thing. They are the one that does the music, right? Hmmmm

That sounds like another Red Ball Chase sort of moment.

I love going to brunch or lunch now with Boog. He's in that well behaved stage between true babyhood and true toddlerhood.
