Ya You
The other day, Carson became very insistent, saying "Ya you!" Tate and I just smiled and nodded at him since we were clueless as to what he was saying.
But he was persistant. "Ya you! Ya you!!"
We were also persistant, kindly nodding and smiling. Still clueless.
Finally, he got up and ran to his room. When he returned, he was carrying a book.
Guess How Much I Love You.
He was trying to say, "I love you."
And just when I thought my heart couldn't take anymore sweetness, last night at dinner he said to his sister, "Ya you baby Ella."
It's official. My heart has melted.

35 People are even more brilliant:
oh, see, now my heart's all squidgy too.
sap sap sap...i'm leaking.
he's so fiercely cute, Jen.
Isn't that the best! When we went to Strasburge a few weekends ago we went to The Cracker Barrel for dinner. Babyhead turned to me and out of the blue said, "I lul you mommy." and gave me a kiss. It was all I could do not to break out into tears! LOL Up until this point he only said " I too" when you told him you loved him first...so I was on cloud nine when I was the first person he just out of the blue said I love you to.
:-)
You know, I don't think I ever realized how great his eyes are.
Great picture!
There must be a sale on melting hearts, because I'm right there with you guys. How tute (how my baby used to say 'cute.')
So sweet! The sibling love is the best!
Geez, here he was being all lovey and he's thinking how DUMB you are that you were getting it!!! What a sweetie!
Oh my. He is quite a charmer!

So sweet. I look forward to that with my sons.
oh.... sa-weet!
Ka-Yute! The Ya-You and the boy.
I feel like the wicked witch from Oz - "I'm melting, mellllting."
Completely melt-worthy.
And he is smart too. You didn't get what he was saying so he got you a visual clue. That kid is brilliant.

That makes me want to have another baby. Frick...

Awww, so sweet!
Wow...sweet and smart. I don't know what impresses me more...his telling you all that he loves you, or his ability to figure out a way to get you to understand him.
Give that little one a hug from Blogging Auntie Christine ;).
Awwww, how sweet!
We have that same book! In Dutch of course, "Raad eens hoeveel ik van jou hou"
That is so sweet and the picture is too adorable! I've been saying I wanted that book for a while, now I have to work really hard to remember it when we're in the store.
Oh man...at first I thought he'd listened too much to Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend." :groan - HATE that song:
The real reason is much, much meltey-heart better :)
